FC Barcelona to Host First Match at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday

Barcelona have announced their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga over two years after they moved out for construction to commence.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. When completed, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. Barça announced recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht in December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
